Welcome to Greek Wikisource! I will try to transcribe Βιβλίο:Seder Tefilot K'Minhag K.K. Sefaradim (Yosef Nachmuli, Korfu 1885).pdf, at least the Greek part, since I don't understand hebrew, apart from minimal skills with the alphabet.—Ah3kal (συζήτηση) 12:35, 19 Ιουλίου 2017 (UTC)[απάντηση]

Thank you! I have Tesseract-OCR and ABBYY 12.0 on my side -- but I can't type in Greek myself. Do you think it's helpful for me to paste the output of Tesseract here for you (and others) to correct? (No need to worry about the Hebrew part.) —Aharonium (συζήτηση) 13:51, 19 Ιουλίου 2017 (UTC)[απάντηση]
It probably doesn't help. I personaly prefer to redo OCR than to proofread an inacurate one. Tesseract gives good results for a very narrow spectrum of greek fonts, primarly used in non greek editions of ancient greek texts. It's not really useful for modern greek publications. ABBYY can be good, but needs a lot of training before it gives over 90% accurate OCR for polytonic text.—Ah3kal (συζήτηση) 04:36, 20 Ιουλίου 2017 (UTC)[απάντηση]

Seder Tefilot K'Minhag K.K. Sefaradim[Επεξεργασία]

This page about the Jewish community of Corfu mentions the typographer and translator of the book you uploaded (Ιωσήφ Ναχαμούλης in greek) and states that he published religious books (I suppose judaic) and 2 magazines "Ισραηλιτικά Χρονικά" (jewish chronicles) and "Ισραηλιτική Οικογένεια" (jewish family) and in his typography was published another jewish magazine: "Ισραηλίτης Χρονογράφος" (Jewish Chronographer). So is it possible that this is not the only prayer book translated in greek? —Ah3kal (συζήτηση) 13:37, 19 Ιουλίου 2017 (UTC)[απάντηση]

Thank you for your research. I've seen his other published works in Hebrew. I'm relying on the research of the Judaica auctions site, Kedem Auctions, that stated this was the only Jewish prayerbook translated into Greek. —Aharonium (συζήτηση) 13:47, 19 Ιουλίου 2017 (UTC)[απάντηση]
I will try to write an article about him in el.wikipedia. If I need help with hebrew sources I will ask you. —Ah3kal (συζήτηση) 04:38, 20 Ιουλίου 2017 (UTC)[απάντηση]
